SIGNATURE FLOORBOARDS

Our tongue & groove, 3-layer, Pre-finished 3-strip design and Unfinished Single Plank Engineered Hardwood Flooring is suitable for floating, glue-down and staple down installation, and is available in a variety of species including European White & Red Oak, European White Maple, European Cherry, European Ash, European Birch, European Steamed Beech and Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba).

Signature Floorboards™ consist of three perfectly formed layers of wood, glued in a manner to prevent swelling and/or shrinking. It's stain free, natural finish combines an exclusive 6 coats of acrylic lacquer with aluminum oxide, 5 coats of which are UV-hardened. The lacquers are environmentally safe and non-allergenic.

All Signature Floorboards™ are created using only the highest quality wood available to insure the highest comfort and long lasting durability. Our highest quality manufacturing method and unique way of selecting and cutting the material for each Signature Floorboard™ gives us the opportunity to offer a greater variety of wood grades and selection.

After many years spent in developing superior engineered hardwood flooring, we are proud to announce that all Signature Floorboards™ are manufactured in an ISO 9002 certified flooring factory, out performing all other manufacturers of similar products.

All Signature Floorboards™ carry 25-year Limited Lifetime Finish and Structural Warranty.

	Grading: Signature Floorboards are available in three classes: I. Standard - (Clear) -* exclusive rift/quarter sawn, hand selected wood with planks of very uniform color and shade. II. Natural - (Select & Better) - hand selected wood with planks of different shades and occasional small pin knots. III. Rustic - wood with random planks with a variety of color, shades and small knots. The pattern of shades and character marks should be checked before installation.

	SPECIFICATIONS: THE TOP LAYER (1) This layer is made of deciduous wood such as OAK, MAPLE, CHERRY, etc. The surface is protected by a tough, high quality, and abrasion resistant transparent lacquer. The finish combines our exclusive 6 coats of acrylic lacquer with aluminum oxide, second in hardness only to diamonds, to provide unsurpassed protection against normal wear. Five coatings are UV-hardened, making it more resilient than any finish that could be applied on-site. The lacquers used are environmentally safe, and non-allergenic. THE MIDDLE LAYER (2) This layer is made of spruce, pine or similar coniferous wood. It is formed of narrow (1" long and 1/3" wide) tabs. Such construction prevents swelling and/or shrinking of the middle layer from changing the size of the entire board. THE BOTTOM LAYER (3) This layer is made of poplar, alder, aspen, pine, etc., and its primary function is to compensate the tension in the upper layers. All three layers are perfectly glued together in such a manner as to ensure reliability and durability as well as damp resistance.


	INSTALLATION METHODS: Signature Floorboards™ may be used in new and existing construction. It can be installed over any subfloor and/or existing floors, on all flooring grades, and in any room except bathrooms. Signature Floorboards™ are designed and constructed to be installed as a FLOATING FLOOR. However, when necessary, it may also be nailed or glued down. For floating installation, the use of Signature 2-in-1 Duo™ or ThermAkustik Duo™ floor underlayment and Uzin MK-33 adhesive is required to obtain full warranty coverage.
